We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Marble Inn Resort, Steadybrook. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and honesty.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift or On-Call Work: Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Availability: Availability for the advertised start date.
