Main Accountabilities- Provide guidance and support to operational leaders on safety-related matters, ensuring a collaborative approach to addressing safety concerns.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills they need to perform their jobs safely.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and job safety analyses to identify potential hazards and implement effective controls.
- Manage incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety laws and regulations, including WSIB case management.
