About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at River Cree Resort & Casino, a First Nation owned and operated casino resort based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of River Cree Enterprises GP Ltd. (RCEGP), the Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in driving the financial strategy and direction of the organization.
  • Developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the business.
  • Leading the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with senior management to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, and to mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of driving financial growth, improving financial performance, and implementing financial strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
