About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineering Applications Specialist to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Engineering Software Support Team, you will be responsible for providing advanced support for BIM/CAD and engineering application software within WSP Americas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate requests for engineering applications and systems based on user needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders, Engineering Software Support Team, and Information Management Team to contribute CAD/BIM expertise and help automate critical engineering processes
  • Manage introduction and use of new and updated engineering software products within WSP Americas business and on large individual projects
  • Recommend use of appropriate engineering software tools and engineering document collaboration systems
  • Participate in formalizing requirements, testing, and acceptance process for release of new Engineering applications
Requirements
  • Degree in IT or Computer Science
  • 5-7 years supporting engineering applications
  • Experience with engineering software (including AutoCAD, Revit, ProjectWise, BIM360/ACC) is an asset
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in French and Spanish is highly desirable
  • High-level working knowledge of either ACC/BIM360, ProjectWise, SharePoint
