Job Title: Department Head - Retail Store

Kolani Kitchens and Baths Inc is seeking a highly skilled Department Head - Retail Store to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the sales floor, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to ensure they meet the company's standards and expectations.
  • Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory: Process payments, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Sell Merchandise and Resolve Issues: Provide exceptional customer service, sell merchandise, and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Data: Compile and analyze sales data, preparing reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player
