About the Role:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide relief coverage for a part-time position at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education to patients and/or their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, treatment planning, and implementation for patients in a long-term care setting
- Develop and implement programs to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Provide work direction to Rehabilitation Assistants working with the rehabilitation team
