Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time occupational therapist to join our team in the community setting. As an occupational therapist with Community Therapists, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in a variety of areas, including pediatrics, home health, concussion/brain injury, mental health, and driver rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop graduated activity and return-to-work plans for clients
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop knowledge of funder contracts and community resources to facilitate clients' access to appropriate health services
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic strategies to facilitate clients' success and independence in home and community settings
Requirements
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
