Job Title: Software Developer in Test

CMHC is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our Technology Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation processes and tools for our Azure-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement test automation processes and tools for Azure-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with developers to promote testing best practices and drive test automation adoption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage
  • Complete application development projects of higher complexity, including the programs to be coded, for implementation into production
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience testing, programming, developing, and implementing business applications
  • Experience in designing and implementing test automation for Azure-based applications
  • Expertise with business ecosystems, cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, with a focus on Microsoft technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field
  • Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration
