CMHC is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our Technology Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation processes and tools for our Azure-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools for Azure-based applications and services.
  • Collaborate with developers to promote testing best practices and drive test automation adoption.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automated testing solutions for Azure-based applications and services.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, programming, developing, and implementing business applications.
  • Experience in designing and implementing test automation for Azure-based applications.
  • Expertise in business ecosystems, cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration.
