Job Title: Total Rewards Coordinator

Indigo Books & Music is seeking a highly skilled Total Rewards Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for administering and managing the end-to-end lifecycle associated with occupational and non-occupational employee absences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage absence management claims, including occupational (WSIB) and non-occupational (STD, LTD, unpaid) leaves of absence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, leaders, HR Business Partners, and external stakeholders regarding absence management.
  • Generate and maintain reports, interpret data, and make recommendations for process efficiencies.
  • Assist with group benefits and retirement savings administration and reporting.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the long service awards program.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of combined Benefits, HR, or Total Rewards experience.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the retail/customer service industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with understanding benefits and HR program principles and practices.
  • Additional experience in benefit program transitions preferred.
  • Knowledgeable regarding relevant legislation.
Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills, including excellent written, oral, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to adhere to schedules and manage processes.
  • Strong with numbers and detail oriented.
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time while delivering results.
