You'll work closely with students, empowering them to advocate effectively, and partner with Jewish and pro-Israel organizations to advance shared goals. - Monitor and respond to antisemitic or anti-Zionist incidents on campuses, ensuring proper reporting and action, and promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
- Build relationships with university administrators, faculty, and key campus organizations, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes Jewish student success.
You're a strategic thinker and relationship builder, with a passion for advocacy and Jewish life. You understand the unique challenges facing Jewish students and are skilled at leading both proactive and reactive advocacy campaigns. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and are committed to supporting students as they navigate complex issues.
Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven leadership and mentorship experience, especially in advocacy or community organizing.
- Familiarity with university administration and campus life, particularly in advocacy or political engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience with social media and community engagement.
- Ability to stay calm and think clearly during times of crisis or heightened pressure.
- High energy, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
- Competitive salary ranging between $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
- Generous vacation, wellness, and sick leave, plus Jewish and statutory holidays.
- Receive a $500 CAD wellness package to support your physical and mental well-being.
- Enjoy a fully covered transit pass or parking pass to make your commute easier and more convenient.
- The chance to make a tangible, lasting impact on Jewish students and communities in BC.
- A supportive network of colleagues within Hillel BC and the broader Hillel movement.
In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at nearly 1,000 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.
Hillel is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an accepting and inclusive environment for all.
