About the Role

Arauco is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Technician to join our team in the production of MDF panels. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of MDF panels within established parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily rounds to identify and address any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
  • Perform quality inspections and document results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of business decisions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid G2 license and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent safety record and knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental and organizational goals.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
