About the Role
We are seeking a talented Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sales and service experts to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage administrative duties such as payroll, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies and plans to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist with managing Kal Tire assets and cash flow under company standards and expectations.
- Operate with confidence and sound judgment under pressure, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managerial/supervisory roles, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift 30-50 pounds as needed.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent and some management training (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other team members.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
