Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Susan Smith. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to children and adolescents in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Fort McMurray.
- Provide hospital on-call support assistance as per call schedules.
- Offer psychiatric services through Tele-Medicine or other forms of telecommunication to communities with high needs for mental health services.
- Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities.
- Take on leadership roles and participate in administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be specialized or experienced in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification or be eligible.
- Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.
