Accounting Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Revitalize Marketing Inc. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as reconcile accounts and prepare trial balance of books.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
