Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry children, as well as perform light housekeeping duties.
Work Setting

The successful candidate will work in the employer's home, providing care and support to our children in a safe and comfortable environment.

Language

The primary language spoken in the home is English or French, and the successful candidate must be proficient in one of these languages.Hours of Work

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, providing consistent and reliable care to our children.
