Job Title: Child Care Provider

At Alexandra Steiner, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nurturing and engaging care to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Plan and implement activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment, maintaining a clean and organized home.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with children, their families, and other caregivers.
  • Collaborate with the employer to ensure the child's needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and care for children.
Work Setting:

This is a home-based position, working with the employer in their home. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this home, and the ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.Hours:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the child and the employer.
