Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team at Mountain View Christian Academy Society. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, fostering a love of learning, and promoting academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with provincial standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, promoting social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of teaching experience or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
