Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of UPS Small Package services. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist in dispatch planning, coordinate with drivers and staff to ensure adequate staffing and equipment levels, and oversee load and tractor planning and assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze dispatch and service reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement efficient dispatch plans to meet service, safety, and cost goals.
  • Coordinate with drivers and staff to ensure trailers are loaded or empty as planned and confirm accurate trailer inventory.
  • Monitor load movements and track equipment condition to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify service levels and address performance issues to maintain high-quality service standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Management experience - Preferred
