About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Library Technician at the Niagara Catholic District School Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance of the library collection, including cataloging and processing new materials.
  • Provide support to students and staff in the use of library resources and technology.
  • Help to develop and implement library programs and services that promote literacy and a love of reading.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate library services into the curriculum.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Library Technology or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in library software and technology.
