As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Acquisition: Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
  2. Client Engagement: Makes contact by telephone or email to obtain initial information about the potential customer and then sets up in-person appointments.
  3. Solution Presentation: Explores customer needs and presents UPS services.
  4. Negotiation and Logistics: Negotiates and prepares a comprehensive logistics solution for the customer.
  5. Client Retention: Focuses on retaining and penetrating active clients in portfolio.
  6. Portfolio Management: Completes maintenance, problem resolution, and sales management of client portfolio.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitors sales through the drafting and updating of reports and internal systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Required
  • Operational Requirements: Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills
  • Travel: Willing to travel
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office skills
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for business
