As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition: Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Client Engagement: Makes contact by telephone or email to obtain initial information about the potential customer and then sets up in-person appointments.
- Solution Presentation: Explores customer needs and presents UPS services.
- Negotiation and Logistics: Negotiates and prepares a comprehensive logistics solution for the customer.
- Client Retention: Focuses on retaining and penetrating active clients in portfolio.
- Portfolio Management: Completes maintenance, problem resolution, and sales management of client portfolio.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitors sales through the drafting and updating of reports and internal systems.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Required
- Operational Requirements: Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills
- Travel: Willing to travel
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office skills
- Availability: Availability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for business
