About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Motor Medics Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are returned to them in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair complex automotive problems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and to ensure that all repairs are completed correctly.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts and Components: Use your technical skills to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices, helping them to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and excellent communication skills
Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Technician at Motor Medics Ltd, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
