Job Description

The Risk Lead will play a critical role in overseeing risk management activities across the organization, ensuring that risks are effectively identified, assessed, and mitigated. This includes developing and implementing strategies to minimize potential financial, operational, and strategic impacts, as well as monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of risk management efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of risk management professionals. They will also have a proven track record of successfully managing risk initiatives and leading teams, with a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in risk management or a related field, with proven experience in leading and managing risk initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing risk initiatives and leading teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent risk management certifications.
