Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Systems Leadership: Develop and implement effective quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Food Safety Management: Lead the development and implementation of HACCP plans and ensure that all food safety protocols are in place and followed.
  • Compliance and Audits: Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory audits, to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of quality professionals to achieve excellence in quality and food safety.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize quality and food safety processes.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and competencies of the team.
  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships and ensure that all suppliers meet our quality and food safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or equivalent in a food science or related subject.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior quality management role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Skills: Proven experience managing and effectively leading a team within quality, strong understanding of HACCP and Food Safety, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to build and develop strong, cooperative relationships with key stakeholders, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
