About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team at Borgata Event Centre by Avani. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to meet the needs of our clients.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during events.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient event execution.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our event services and attract new clients.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
