The Accounts Payable Intermediate Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can accurately verify, code, and enter vendor invoices into our accounting system.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify and match purchase order receipts against vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy
- Account code non-purchase order invoices
- Enter AP transactions into our accounting system
- Perform general accounting administrative tasks as required
- High school diploma
- Basic accounting knowledge acquired through formal courses is an asset
- Strong computer skills with functional proficiency in Excel
- Previous Accounts Payable training or experience is desired
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts and principles
- Experience working in an EDI environment is an asset
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, and management
- Strong administrative skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities
- Good communication skills within a team environment
- Initiative to isolate and solve problems
- Ability to keep confidential financial and other proprietary company information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation: $21.61 per hour
