Job Summary

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a skilled Offshore Drilling Rig Technician to join our team. As a key member of our drilling operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our offshore drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attach and operate drilling equipment: Attach pumps and hoses to wellheads, operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps, and read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure.
  • Maintenance and repair: Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, and other mechanical equipment, and assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs.
  • Chemical and cement mixing: Mix chemicals and cements as required for drilling operations.
  • Reporting and documentation: Write daily basic progress reports to ensure accurate record-keeping and communication with team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work setting: Offshore drilling rig.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 2190 hours per year.
