Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents at RhynoCare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent patient care, working closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- To provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RN.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive manner when dealing with others.
- Respect for each resident's individuality and need for self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statues influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
- Proof of vaccination and adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
