Job Summary:

We are seeking a Store Associate for our store on St. Laurent in Ottawa. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Accurately record customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Replenish merchandise and maintain planograms, labels, and tickets.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Follow loss prevention best practices and ensure the security of the store.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a typical full-time schedule, including day shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
