We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Quality Care Services Ltd. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory authority.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience working in a long-term care setting, preferably in geriatrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
