Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Flowerstone Family Health Clinic in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services to patients in the Oceanside area.

About the Role

This is a service contract position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be part of a team that includes medical office assistants, a registered nurse, and a clinical pharmacist, and will work closely with local physician specialists, community health authority services, and other healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement processes to ensure all people in the community have access to quality primary care and are attached to a primary care provider within their community.
  • Deliver extended hours of care, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Deliver same-day access for urgently needed primary care through the NP-PCC.
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services through a team-based care approach.
  • Collaborate and co-ordinated care with diagnostic services, hospital care, specialty care, and community services for all patients.
