Job Title: Manager, IELTS and Professional Learning

About the Role:

Humber College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the IELTS Test Centre and Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of IELTS testing and CPL programs at Humber College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IELTS Test Centre, including test-day administration, staff management, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to promote IELTS and CPL programs.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate a team of test examiners, invigilators, and support staff.
  • Liaise with the British Council and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with IELTS testing standards.
  • Support the development of CPL programming and business development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined managerial experience in adult education, test administration, or language testing.
  • TESL Ontario certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and project management.
