About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing warehouse operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and supervising a team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, including inventory levels, shipping times, and staff productivity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • A post-secondary education in a related field, such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience with warehouse management software and systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as OSHA and Hazmat.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
