Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Director to join our team at Shanghai Express Inc. in the warehouse management role.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial facilities, including real estate management and maintenance of equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
  • Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate
  • Identify customers' needs
  • Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
  • Resolve product and service related problems
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 1-7 months of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and Adobe Suite

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,001 - $500,000 per year, plus benefits including bonus, free parking available, learning/training paid by employer, paid time off (volunteering or personal days), team building opportunities, parking available, and variable or compressed work week.
