About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at SOUTH WEST BULK EXPRESS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the logistics of our organization, ensuring seamless coordination with other departments and work units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics plans to meet business objectives, including coordinating activities with other departments and work units.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance, coaching, and technical advice to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible, organized, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 35 hours per week. The language of work is English, and the job involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
