Job Title: Truck Operations Supervisor

Highlight Motor Freight Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and projects, ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 truck drivers and coordinate their activities to meet operational goals.
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to optimize fleet utilization and reduce costs.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and recommend personnel actions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and excellent knowledge of transportation regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
