Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of delivery drivers and truck drivers to ensure they are meeting their daily targets and adhering to company policies.
  • Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked fleet.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 37.5 hour work week. The work language is English, and parking is available on site.
