Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at our Nisku, Alberta facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment by procuring, receiving, storing, and issuing parts and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Pull parts from inventory and supply to mechanics and field maintenance teams.
- Maintain accurate records of part locations, numbers, and quantities.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.
- Keep the warehouse organized and tidy, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Source parts from suppliers and work with procurement to purchase items as needed.
- Manage bin locations, part numbers, safety stock levels, and minimum/maximum inventory thresholds.
- Ship and receive materials as required, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Tiger Calcium Services Inc.'s Safety Management System policies and procedures.
- Journeyman Parts Technician certification is an asset but not mandatory.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- Experience working with bin locations, part numbers, safety stock, and minimum/maximum inventory levels is essential.
- Proven experience in performing cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Data entry skills, particularly with work orders.
- A minimum of five years of experience working with industrial and heavy-duty truck parts and consumables in a transportation shop.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with consignment inventory is beneficial.
- Familiarity with TMT software application is considered an asset.
- Operational knowledge of forklifts is an advantage.
- Candidates must pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug and alcohol testing, and health assessments.
- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
