About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our on-premise and cloud cluster infrastructure to support our computational workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy on-premise and cloud cluster infrastructure to support computational workflows
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and automation
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and researchers to optimize computational resources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operation of our platform
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures
  • Assist in IT-related tasks, including network setup, security configurations, and hardware management
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency
Requirements
  • ~3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • ~ Proficiency with Linux system administration
  • ~ Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Packer)
  • ~ Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI)
  • ~ Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • ~ Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • ~ Solid understanding of system networking and security
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of HPC (High-Performance Computing) environments
  • Experience with on-prem cluster development and hardware provisioning
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
