The Role

We are seeking a skilled Bulk Truck Operator to join our team. As a Bulk Truck Operator, you will be responsible for delivering bulk blasting agents to Quarry/Mine Operations in the region. Your duties will include:

  • Safely driving a 14MT Capacity bulk truck on public and site roads.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, including TDG, Explosives Act, Bulk Regulations, and WHIMIS.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring proper quantities are delivered.
  • Ensuring product quality through regular calibrations and sampling.
  • Assisting with light maintenance and equipment upkeep.
  • Adhering to company policies, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting with blast site duties under the supervision of the blaster.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • Class 3 or higher driver's license.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in routine maintenance tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with delivery systems, E-log, and computer training.
  • Positive professional attitude and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-hire fitness for work examination, including screening for drug and alcohol.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
