About the Role

Dyno Nobel is a global leader in the commercial explosives industry, providing innovative blasting solutions and quality explosives products. We're seeking a skilled Bulk Truck Operator to join our team in delivering bulk blasting agents to Quarry/Mine Operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a 14MT Capacity bulk truck on public and site roads, ensuring compliance with regulations (TDG, Explosives Act, Bulk Regulations, WHIMIS).
  • Ensure proper quantities are made available for each delivery and maintain inventory.
  • Assist in light maintenance to truck and equipment under the supervision of a Mechanic or Supervisor.
  • Ensure the quality of products delivered through regular calibrations and sampling.
  • Periodically assist with blast site duties under the supervision of the blaster.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school (Grade 12) or experience in related fields.
  • A class 3 or higher driver's license.
  • Mechanical inclination with an interest to learn routine maintenance tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, operating delivery systems, E-log, and computer training.
  • Positive professional and courteous attitude when dealing with customers.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
