Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As a key member of our D Wing (Med/Surg/Paeds) Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities:- Provide general and specialized nursing duties and work assignments on a daily basis, adhering to the standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and approved standards of care of the Corporation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient progress, report changes or concerns to supervisors, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- BScN preferred, minimum completion of Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 1 year recent (within 1-2 years) medical-surgical and/or pediatric experience.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Current BCLS certification.
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Paediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
- Acceptable performance and attendance records.
