About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team at Sleep Country Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring each purchase ends in a smile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by delivering products to customers' homes in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, alternating between driving and helping capacities.
  • Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks.
  • Handle and assemble products into customers' homes while following all health and safety procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork for each delivery.
  • Contribute to the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg).
  • Ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings and weekends.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating a 5-ton vehicle or larger is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or delivery environment is considered an asset.
