Key Holder Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our retail team at the Kanata Outlet location. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, assessing customer needs, and providing assistance and information on product features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Assess customer needs and provide personalized recommendations
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
  • Drive sales through effective cross-selling and upselling techniques
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Handle returns of merchandise and resolve customer complaints
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and visual merchandising standards
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our products and promote our brand values
  • Support with cash handling and inventory duties, including restocking of products
  • Assist with corporate gifting and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative, or similar role
  • Basic understanding of customer service practices and sales principles
  • Track record of achieving sales targets
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • High school diploma
  • A passion for chocolate
