We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team at Embassy Transportation Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our goods production, utilities, and construction departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth
- Lead and manage a team of 16-20 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with senior staff to establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning
- Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement
- Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the transportation or construction industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Parking available on site
- Support for newcomers and refugees through government or community programs
- Support for Indigenous people through government or community programs
- Permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week
- English language required
