About the Role

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance is a key member of our team at Avmax Careers - Canada. This role reports directly to the Crew Chief and is responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to the crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the crew to ensure efficient and safe completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the crew to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Promote company values, vision, and mission by demonstrating exceptional professionalism and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain strong fundamental aircraft knowledge to provide expert technical support.
  • Carry out maintenance repairs on customer aircraft, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Sign work sheets and work cards accurately and completely, maintaining accurate records of work completed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of aviation maintenance.
  • Dash-8 and CRJ experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
