We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at The Pavers Inc. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and minor repairs to various systems, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Conduct safety and security checks to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, providing excellent customer service and showcasing the features and benefits of our properties.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
