Pharmacy Department Head

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide a team of pharmacists and staff to ensure seamless operations
- Responsible for hiring, training, and managing the performance of staff members
- Oversee the financial and operational success of the pharmacy department
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients
- Manage inventory levels to meet patient needs and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
- Develop and implement public health initiatives and educational programs to promote health and wellness
- Provide timely and effective resolution to patient concerns and doctor's requests
- Monitor and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy department
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license are mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail pharmacy environment
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent people management and coaching skills
- Strong customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
- Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in formulating and executing action plans
- Proficiency in personal computing and knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system is an asset
