Logistics Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Quadra Chemicals. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, including freight claims, inventory management, and shipping documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics operations, including freight claims, inventory management, and shipping documentation;
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment tracking and generate exception reports;
  • Manage international shipments, including trucking, intermodal, marine containers, and airfreight;
  • Handle freight claims for damaged shipments and ensure timely resolution;
  • Secure Proof of Delivery documents for completed orders;
  • Uphold adherence to EH&S and quality protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment;
  • Input data accurately into various software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, JD Edwards E1, Oracle Transportation Management System, and Microsoft Teams;
  • Collaborate with internal customers to ensure seamless coordination and support for logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or University certificate in transportation management, supply chain management, or operations management;
  • Minimum 3 years in a supply chain or logistics role;
  • Marine freight and ground transport experience an asset;
  • Exemplary organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in inventory management, shipping documentation, and other related tasks;
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external partners;
  • Proficient with various computer applications and software, with strong ability to adapt to new technologies quickly;
  • Excellent time management, proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at once;
  • Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously and demonstrate proactive initiative;
  • TDG certification or awareness an asset;
  • Bilingual (French/English) required for this role.
