Job Title: Countertop Templater Technician

About the Role:

FloForm Countertops is seeking a skilled Countertop Templater Technician to join our team in Edmonton. As a Templater, you will be responsible for creating digital templates for custom countertops, programming CNC routers, and preparing CAD files for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customers' homes to create templates and take measurements
  • Complete work orders, noting all required specifications and modifications
  • Advise customers on templating and installation processes
  • Communicate with sales, operations, and production staff to ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Ensure accurate digital drawings of countertops and sinks for installation
  • Perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, lifting, and bending

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-secondary education and 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft office products, AutoCAD, and CAM software
  • Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction, installation, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Templating or Fabrication/Installation/drafting
  • Valid drivers license and a clear criminal record check
